Cavs Win 11th Straight Game To Improve To 30-20!
The Cleveland Cavaliers triumphed over the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night 97-84 in Cleveland.
Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 24 points, he also added 5 rebounds and 5 assists. LeBron James added 18 points along with 3 rebounds and 11 assists. Kevin Love contributed 5 points, but led all rebounders with 15.
The Cavaliers haven’t won this many games consecutively since 2010 when they won 13 straight. The Cavaliers needed this big momentum swing going into the All-Star break after losing 6 straight before beginning this win streak.
The Cavaliers have had many members of the media on their back for not performing at a playoff caliber level when, in fact, it is only February and they do not need to be in “playoff form” until it is actually playoff time. I have the utmost faith that the Cavaliers, led by LeBron James, will be in tremendous playoff shape when that time comes around and they will be a force to be reckoned with coming out of the East.
If the Cavaliers can win at least three out of the next five games, they will be in prime position to establish themselves in the East as that “playoff ready” Cavaliers team that has been expected all season long.
